Mental health concerns are on the rise and plaguing individuals and communities, every year seizing more victims. What was once an overshadowed disease are now some of the most common illnesses around the world. Mental illnesses do not discriminate and affect all class systems, ages, genders, race, minorities, and cultures. While these "cancers of the mind" continue to exponentially amplify in numbers, aid remains minimal and that which is offered is often incredibly expensive and difficult to obtain.
